Payment is expected at the time of service. As a courtesy to our patients, we can accept direct benefits from your insurance company, with the patient's remaining co-payment due at the time of service. Any balance not covered by the insurance company is solely the patient's responsibility.
We recommend that you provide us with your insurance information prior to your scheduled initial appointment. Our staff will make every effort to contact your insurance company and obtain all the pertinent information about your plan, yearly coverage, and itemized benefits prior to your appointment.
We accept direct payment from PPO plans that allow out-of-network benefits as well as from other traditional plans. We'll help you with your paperwork and will process all claims electronically.
Our staff is very experienced in handling claims for major area employers such as the World Bank, IMF, IDB, PAHO, and OAS. We also have significant experience with multiple insurance plans from a variety of providers.
We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and to help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are cash, check, or any major credit card. Extensive treatment financing is available through a third-party credit provider. (Please note that we do not accept Medicaid, Medicare, or other state-funded insurance plans.)
